Disney Dining Review: Garden Grill Restaurant

When it comes to character dining at Walt Disney World, or even just dining in general, one place that should be at the top of everyone’s list in my opinion is The Garden Grill Restaurant.

Located at the Land Pavilion at Epcot’s Future World, the Garden Grill Restaurant is a great restaurant!  The restaurant itself is circular, and slowly revolves as you eat to show you all of the different “seasons” of the attraction “Living with the Land”, which is located below the restaurant.

The food at The Garden Grill Restaurant is wonderful comfort food.  There are beef, turkey, and fish dishes, and with each selection there are specific side dishes that accompany the meat.  Served family style, you can eat what you want and then get more of some of what you liked!  It is a wonderful meal, and many of the fruits and vegetables are grown below in the greenhouses that are located at the pavilion!  Here are links to the sample menus for the Garden Grill (all day) and the Kid’s menu as well!

But The Garden Grill Restaurant is not just for eating, this is a character restaurant also!  Enjoy visits with Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip, and Dale while you eat!  They come around to all of the tables and are available for pictures and autographs!  We have had some great pictures with them over the years!

This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants to eat at, and one that I think we will introduce our friends to when we travel to Disney World in June!  If you haven’t eaten there before, you are missing out, I highly recommend that you try it one time!  You’ll be hooked!

  1. Mickey says:

Oh Heidi, that is awful! I'm sorry you all had to go through that, regardless of the restaurant you were at. That just proves the old addage 'Mean people suck!'
    I'm sorry.

  2. We did this on our last trip and, while we enjoyed it, we all agreed that we probably wouldn't do this one again.  Come to think of it, though, it was right after having our stroller and my camera bag stolen, so we were all a bit “depressed” (and that's not good at Disney!)
