Disney Dining Review: Chef Mickey’s

One restaurant that we have only eaten at once before, but is one that we are thinking about trying out again, is Chef Mickey’s.

Located at the Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey’s has quite the following because it is one of the few restaurants where you can interact with the “Big Dogs” of Disney: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Pluto!  We have actually only eaten at Chef Mickey’s one time, in August of 2007, our first year visiting and staying on property.  We chose a dinner time for our visit to Chef Mickey’s, and to be honest, I thought the food was just okay.  However, Sophie had a great time interacting with all of the characters, as you can see in these photos, and we decided that one year we would likely visit Chef Mickey’s again, but this time for breakfast.  It may very well turn out that we do just that on our next trip with our friends and family in June, 2012!

Chef Mickey’s is a buffet, so you’re going to get your typical buffet food.

While we didn’t think it was all that great a place to eat at for dinner, we are going to give it another try for breakfast perhaps, and I think that might make all the difference in the world.  What is your impression of Chef Mickey’s?  Please comment and let me know!  Thanks for reading!
