Welcome to another edition of the Wordless Wednesday Blog hop, hosted by my friend Deb from Focused on the Magic! Today’s theme is transportation, and I have a couple of photos I wanted to share with you. The top photo is the Grand Marshall car from last year’s Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. The next photo is of the cool car that you can find at the Beach Club Resort (I spent half an hour trying to confirm that it is the Beach Club, and not the Yacht Club, where you can find the car, so if I’m wrong, please correct me.)
The last photo I want to share with you is of a parade I haven’t seen in a few years. I like it because it is the Family Fun Day Parade, and it features my wife’s favorite character — Daisy Duck! Better yet, she is riding on a classic fire truck. From what I can make out, it looks like the fire truck has “Main Street Fire Dept.” and “Engine No. 51” on the engine cover. I also think it is a 1915 fire truck because of the license plate. But beyond that, I can’t find much about it, nor can I confirm the writing. Have any of you seen this fire truck before, and can you fill in some details for me? This is a mystery that it would be really cool to learn more about!
